Do you know how many cloud services your organization uses? According to Forrester Research, the average organization uses66 differentcloud service applications. But this is nothing compared to how many cloud services the average public sector organization (742) or health care organization (928) uses.
Do you know how many of your organization’s cloud services are SOC-2 compliant? Perhaps a better question is: Do you know what SOC-2 compliance is? I’m actually surprised at how many IT professionals I meet don’t know about SOC-2. Or, if they’ve heard about it, they don’t really know what it means.
Not only should IT pros know about SOC-2 compliance, they should only contract with service providers who have passed the rigorous audit to achieve SOC-2 compliance.
