Cops gain access to phone location data in some States.

Not sure if this bothers me or not, not only do I not live in the states but surely this could also help clear someone if some other evidence could be collaborated.

161 years does seem harsh given the others reportedly getting 22 years...  I suppose the moral of this story is don't rob banks, and if you do, don't take your phone.
